CELEBRATING!

After being terribly disappointed last week after hearing from our agency that we would not make the July deadline to court to avoid being stuck in the summer break for the month of August, we just got an unexpected call from our agency that we have a COURT DATE!!!! 

Friday, July 18  

That cannot possibly be less than two weeks away. Impossible. 

She was quick to remind us that we not only need to pass court, but need the court decree (a document for the orphanage that states that we passed court and we can pick Emily up) before August 1 as well and that typically comes two weeks after court so we'll be cutting it close. Could go either way. 

No matter what, God's got this. I see the end in sight.

Submitted to MOJ - May 26
Court Date issued - July 4

Looking forward to celebrating on July 18 when the official, legal, forever documents refer to our girl as Emily Anche Peske. You know though, she's been a Peske in our hearts for a long time now.

IF we pass court. IF we get our court decree the month of July. We should have Emily in our arms mid-late August. Now we need to get busy. We have a lot of work to do.
